5 Element Wing Chun

5 Element Wing Chun is the result of many years of hard training, researching and perfecting Wing Chun and offers one of the very best and most unique systems in martial arts tuition available today.

The grading system is divided into 5 progressive levels according to the 5 elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Void. As you train, you will develop the skill set required for the current level and then progress to the next.

1st Level – Earth (strength, structure, balance)

EARTHnew-First Form & Applications!

This level is about creating a solid foundation, strengthening your legs,  developing your visual reactions, structure in your stance and technique.  You will learn how to defend yourself and react to most common attacks using effective techniques that can be applied under stressful situations.



2nd Level – Water (fluidity, transition, flexibility)

WATERnew-Second Form & Applications!

This level focuses on developing your kinaesthetic reactions, which is perfect for ambush attacks, fighting in the dark and close range combat. You will learn how to be flexible, create spring energy, yield and flow from one technique to the other with ease . You will also study the psychological and physiological effects you might encounter before and during a fight.

3rd Level – Fire (explosiveness, speed, power)

Through hard training, your fists, forearms, elbows, knees and shins will be well conditioned which will allow you to use them to devastating effect. Deceptive and quick finishing techniques and strategies are studied carefully and are executed with explosiveness.

4th Level – Air (awareness, timing)

Arm dislocating and breaking techniques are studied at this level. Using understanding of body mechanics and advanced footwork you will learn to restrain the opponent without causing serious injury.

5th Level – Void (emptiness, space, intuition)

voidnew When the circle completes itself, it’s then possible to access the 5th and the last element: void, meaning emptiness or space.
